This is a typical reply. Your result will be worded differently each time, because AI tools do not give the same answer twice.

Improving Text You Already Wrote

AI is often more useful as an editor than as a writer. Paste your own draft and ask for specific changes:

Fix grammar, make it easier to read, and keep my simple style.
Do not add any claims I did not make.

The line "Do not add any claims I did not make" is important. Without it, a tool might add words like "premium" or "best-selling" that are not true.

Keeping Your Own Voice

AI text often sounds generic: the same polite phrases, long sentences and words like "delve" or "elevate". Readers and clients notice this.

• Give the tool a sample of your own writing and ask it to match the style
• Ask for "plain, simple English, short sentences"
• Edit the draft yourself: remove filler, add your real examples
• Read it aloud. If it does not sound like you, change it

Writing a CV or Cover Letter

AI can help structure a CV, but it must never invent experience.

1. Paste the job advert and your real experience
2. Ask the tool to suggest which of your skills match the job
3. Ask it to improve your bullet points, using only your facts
4. Check every line before you send it

Checking Facts

Chat assistants can state wrong facts with full confidence. This is called a hallucination. Before you publish or send anything:

• Check names, dates, prices, laws and statistics in a trusted source
• Be extra careful with medical, legal and money advice
• Do not trust quotes or references unless you can find the original
