Intro to HTML & CSS Tutorial
This is a gentle first course for complete beginners. You will learn just enough HTML and CSS to build a small personal web page of your own, step by step.
HTML gives a page its content and structure. CSS makes it look good with colours, fonts, spacing and layout. Together they are the starting point of every website.
Why Start Here?
- You do not need any experience with computers or coding.
- Every chapter adds one new piece to the same page, so you always see progress.
- At the end you will have a real "About Me" page you can show to friends or put in a portfolio.
What You Will Build
A personal page for a student named Ayesha, with a title, a short bio, a list of hobbies, a link, a styled card and a neat layout that also works on phones.
Example
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<style>
body { font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background: #fff8e7; text-align: center; }
h1 { color: #b45309; }
</style>
</head>
<body>
<h1>Hi, I'm Ayesha</h1>
<p>I am a student from Karachi, learning to build websites.</p>
</body>
