A dialogue is a conversation between two or more people. In a written dialogue, the name of the speaker is written first, followed by a colon and the words spoken, without inverted commas.
Rules for Writing a Dialogue
- Begin with a greeting and end with a polite closing.
- Keep sentences short and natural, as people really speak.
- Each speaker should speak in turn, and the topic should be clear.
